Prompt Discovery

Find the prompts and queries where your brand should appear but doesn't — and prioritise the ones that matter most.

Quick answer
You cannot optimise for prompts you do not know about. Prompt Discovery systematically uncovers the questions, queries, and conversation patterns that users are asking AI engines in your category. It moves beyond the prompts you already track and reveals the ones you have been missing — often the high-intent, long-tail queries where a targeted piece of content could flip your brand from absent to recommended.
How it works

Prompt Discovery in detail

Prompt Discovery combines three sources of prompt intelligence. First, it expands your existing query bank by generating semantic variations, long-tail extensions, and intent-modified versions of your tracked prompts. Second, it analyses AI engine response patterns to reverse-engineer the prompts that would produce responses mentioning your competitors but not you. Third, it incorporates real-world prompt data from aggregated, anonymised usage patterns where available.

Discovered prompts are deduplicated, clustered into prompt families (groups of semantically similar prompts), and scored on a composite opportunity metric. The opportunity score considers estimated query frequency, commercial intent signals, your current absence from responses, competitor presence, and the feasibility of creating content that could close the gap.

The discovery dashboard presents prompts as a prioritised list with filters for opportunity score, prompt family, intent type (informational, commercial, navigational), and competitive density. You can select any prompt and immediately see which engines produce what response, which competitors appear, and what content action the platform recommends. One click sends the prompt to Content Workflows to begin the creation process.
