Terms of Service

By accessing or using AEO Platform ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.

AEO Platform is an AI visibility monitoring platform that tracks brand mentions across AI answer engines. The Service includes web-based dashboards, API access, reports, and related tools as described on our features and pricing pages.

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe.
• Pro plans include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are provided at our discretion for annual plans within 30 days of purchase.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions are honoured until renewal.
• Usage beyond plan limits may result in temporary feature restrictions until the next billing cycle or upgrade.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorisation
• Use automated tools to access the Service beyond provided API endpoints
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise other users' accounts

• You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service (brands, queries, configurations).
• AI engine responses collected by the Service are factual data and not owned by any party.
• Reports, analyses, and recommendations generated by the Service are provided for your use under your subscription.
• We may use anonymised, aggregated data to improve the Service and publish industry benchmarks.

The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, documentation, and branding, is owned by AEO Platform and protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• AI engine monitoring data reflects responses at the time of collection. AI responses are non-deterministic and may vary between queries.
• Recommendations and action plans are guidance, not guarantees. Results depend on implementation, competitive dynamics, and AI engine behaviour.
• We do not guarantee specific visibility improvements or business outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AEO Platform shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for violation of these terms, with reasonable notice where possible. Upon termination, you may request export of your data within 30 days.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
