SEO-AI Gap Analysis

Cross-reference your Google rankings with AI visibility to find the keywords where search and AI tell different stories.

Quick answer
Ranking on the first page of Google does not guarantee that AI engines will mention you — and being recommended by ChatGPT does not mean you rank well in search. SEO-AI Gap Analysis cross-references your Google SERP positions with your AI engine mention rates to reveal the gaps between these two discovery channels.
How it works

SEO-AI Gap Analysis in detail

The platform connects to your Google Search Console data (or uses its own SERP tracking if Search Console is not connected) to pull daily ranking positions for your target keywords. Simultaneously, it tracks your AI mention rates for the same keywords and their prompt equivalents across all monitored engines.

The gap analysis engine maps each keyword to its corresponding AI prompt family. For example, the keyword "best CRM for startups" is mapped to prompts like "What CRM should a startup use?" and "Recommend a CRM for early-stage companies." This mapping allows direct comparison: you can see that you rank #3 on Google for "best CRM for startups" but appear in only 10% of AI responses for the equivalent prompt family.

Results are displayed in the four-quadrant matrix with each keyword plotted by its SEO position (x-axis) and AI mention rate (y-axis). Clicking any keyword opens a detail panel showing the specific pages that rank, the AI responses that mention you, and the recommended actions for closing the gap. Bulk actions let you send all keywords in a quadrant to Action Plans or Content Workflows in one step.
