CRM

Sync AI visibility metrics to Salesforce accounts and opportunities so revenue teams can factor AI engine presence into deal strategy.

Quick answer
Enterprise sales teams running on Salesforce need AI visibility data where they already make decisions — inside the CRM. The AEO Platform Salesforce integration writes AI visibility scores, mention trends, and citation data to custom fields on Account and Opportunity objects. Revenue teams can see at a glance which accounts have strong AI engine presence and which are at risk of losing visibility to competitors.
How it works

Salesforce + AEO Platform

AEO Platform connects to Salesforce via the Salesforce REST API using a connected app with OAuth 2.0 authentication. During setup, AEO Platform creates a managed package of custom fields on the Account object — AI Visibility Score, Mention Trend, Citation Count, Primary AI Engine, and Last Sync Date. Optionally, these fields can be added to Opportunity objects as well.

Data synchronization runs on a schedule you configure — every monitoring cycle, daily, or weekly. AEO Platform matches brands to Salesforce accounts using the website field on the Account object. For complex org structures with multiple domains, you can configure manual mapping rules. All synced data respects Salesforce field-level security so you control who sees AI visibility metrics.

Setup

Get started in 4 steps

1

Install the managed package

Install the AEO Platform managed package from Salesforce AppExchange. The package creates custom fields and a connected app definition.

2

Authorize the connection

In AEO Platform, navigate to Settings > Integrations > Salesforce and authorize the connection via OAuth. AEO Platform requests only the permissions it needs.

3

Configure account mapping

Review auto-detected matches between AEO brands and Salesforce accounts. Add manual mapping rules for accounts with multiple domains or non-standard website fields.

4

Set sync schedule and activate

Choose the sync frequency, select which objects receive AEO data (Accounts, Opportunities, or both), and activate the integration.
