Google Analytics
AnalyticsPush AEO visibility metrics into Google Analytics so your team can correlate AI engine performance with web traffic and conversions.
Google Analytics + AEO Platform
AEO Platform uses the GA4 Measurement Protocol to send server-side events to your Google Analytics property. When a monitoring cycle detects a new mention, citation change, or ranking shift, the platform fires a structured event with metadata including engine name, query text, mention type, and sentiment score. These events appear in your GA4 real-time and standard reports within minutes.
You configure the integration by providing your GA4 Measurement ID and API secret. AEO Platform validates the connection, sends a test event, and begins streaming data on the next monitoring cycle. Custom dimension mappings are pre-configured but can be adjusted in the integration settings to match your existing GA4 schema.

Get started in 4 steps
Create a GA4 API secret
In your GA4 Admin panel, navigate to Data Streams, select your web stream, and create a new Measurement Protocol API secret. Copy the secret value.
Connect in AEO Platform
Open Settings > Integrations in AEO Platform, select Google Analytics, paste your Measurement ID and API secret, then click Connect.
Map custom dimensions
Review the default dimension mappings (engine, query category, sentiment) and adjust them if your GA4 property uses custom naming conventions.
Verify data flow
AEO Platform sends a test event on connection. Open GA4 Real-Time reports to confirm the event arrives, then enable automatic streaming.
